This device is the culmination of many tests and tweaks by Dave Canterbury of the Pathfinder School, and has become an outstanding compact hunting tool, capable of taking large game. We break down the ins and outs of it, and demonstrate how William is good at shooting it, and I suck.

Ka Bar USMC Knife Review and Test with Bonus Becker BK9 ownage

http:www.youtube.comchannelUCCvuh43ymxT6TLyLqVCn3Ig?sub_confirmation=1 Preparedmind101 brings you a review and test of the Ka-Bar USMC Fighting Knife. After performing a simple handle modification, I found that I like this knife WAY more than I did, and do various cut and chop tests. Also, I piggyback some Becker BK9 usage onto this review, in which the BK9 out cuts the Ka-Bar USMC so much it's almost comical.

Bombproof 20 Outdoor Tactical Pants! Yes, I said 20 Preparedmind101

Preparedmind101 brings you a great outdoor pants recommendation that will work for even the tightest budget, the LA Police Gear Operator Tactical Pants. How good are they really? I mean, for $20?? Well....the pants I show in the video are about 2.5 years old. They are feature packed, ripstop, and AFFORDABLE. The ONE single thing they don't have is space age super quick dry material, which is what makes the high end outdoor pants upwards of $70. I also tell you about (not show!) the greatest underwear ever created for long term outdoor activity and emergency prep.PANTS WEB PAGE: http:www.lapolicegear.combasic-operator-pant-elastic.htmlUNDERWEAR PAGE (PM101 Amazon Store): http:astore.amazon.compreparedmind1-20?_encoding=UTF8&node=18SHOP AND SUPPORT THROUGH THE AMAZON STORE: www.preparedmind101.comSUBSCRIBE: http:tinyurl.commdwx6y6FACEBOOK: www.facebook.compreparedmind101GOOGLE+: plus.google.com+preparedmind101TWITTER: twitter.comPreparedmind101INSTAGRAM: instagram.compreparedmind101

The Becker BK7 Unbiased Review and Knife Test

http:tinyurl.commdwx6y6 The most beloved knife in the PM101 armory gets a do-over in the review dept, with a completely unbiased review and test by Will, who up to this point, has only been allowed to admire her beauty from afar. Watch as he is so amazed, he nearly throws away his beloved PLSK-1. OK...maybe that's stretching it, but now he gets my enthusiasm for this "do all" blade.Buy a BK7 on Amazon and support this channel: http:www.amazon.comgpproductB001IPMG8Kref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=211189&creative=373489&creativeASIN=B001IPMG8K&link_code=as3&tag=preparedmind1-20https:www.facebook.compreparedmind101https:plus.google.com+preparedmind101https:twitter.comPreparedmind101http:instagram.compreparedmind101

Slingshot Hunting for Squirrel

Now that we are well within autumn and the leaves are falling, squirrels are far easier to see on the ground and in the canopy of the tree tops. I've always found squirrels a little slower in the colder months, the younger ones seem a little less educated and you can often get in closer. Squirrels are amazing survivors and you have to admire them, but they do make a great stew. Many thanks for watching, Mike

Slow Motion Rat Hunting 17

The rats are invading! Their numbers have been increasing lately, more and more have been coming to feed on the bird food. They can give birth to 7 youngsters every 21 days and can carry a number of diseases - so they are not welcome in the garden! They could be poisoned, but as there are other animals, pets and children in the garden, this isn't the best option to control their numbers. Shooting is the best and most humane way of keeping the numbers down. All shots were taken at about 14 yards, from a window overlooking the garden. For my rifle this is 1 mil-dot high. All of the shots were taken over a number of days, whenever we spied one that came for a visit.*1 You'll notice in this shot my crosshairs aren't following the rat's head. A good tip when you're trying to shoot something that's constantly moving its head while feeding, is to settle your crosshairs on where its head is in the relaxed position when they're chewing whatever it is they've picked up. This is what I was doing with the rat. I waited for him to move back to his sitting position after he pulled off a chunk. That way, you're not constantly following his head around and the second he moves his head back to chew, I'm there ready to shoot, instead of having to move the crosshairs and re-settle (the 1-2 seconds it takes to do that he'd probably have moved again for another bite.)*2 I followed this guy around for ages as he dashed out, loaded up his mouth with bread, then dashed back into the hedge. You'll notice he made a fatal mistake - he loaded up so much in his mouth he couldn't see where he was going and ran into the brick! As he stopped to pick up what he dropped he gave me enough time to place the pellet through his skull.*3 Rats hardly ever keep still. A good tip when rat shooting is to do what I did here - smear a little peanut butter or chocolate spread on the ground. The rats can't resist this and as they can't run off with it, they have to sit there licking it up, keeping their head nice and still :).*4 Pretty much a carbon copy of number 3 this one. The peanut butter working well :)Equipment used: Air Arms S410 C .177 (Sub 12ft lbs) Gary Cane custom stock, MTC Mamba 4-16x50, Casio EX-ZR100 on home made mount, MTC 5-700 Laser Range finder, Harris Swivel Bi pod, Pellets: .177 JSB Exacts 4.53Music by Kevin Macleod
