Solo Five Day Hunting Bushcraft

For more Bushcraft resources - http:www.mcqbushcraft.co.ukFollow me on Twitter - http:www.twitter.comMCQBushcraftThis is a documentary style video covering four of the five days I spent hunting, foraging and practicing buhscraft skills in some woodland by the coastline. For a rough guide on the gear I used - https:www.youtube.comwatch?v=uFsFbRO-n9EThe neck knife was a gift from a knife maker called 'Patrick' and his channel name is 'The Angus Knives' - he makes knives to order and the one i used was a skinning blade. The large blade knife that I use is called an 'ESEE 6'The boots are 'Jack Pyke Tundra Waterproof Boots' they are very water resistant but died shortly after this trip (lasted six months) I would not recommend them. The Ivy all around me is not Poison Ivy, its Common English Ivy. The Shotgun is a Fausti 12 Bore, 3" chambers with 28 inch Barrels. Thanks for watching, Mike

Making a Leather EDC Pouch for a Leatherman Wave, bits and extras

http:ianatkinson.netleathervideos.htmIf you have found the collection of leatherwork videos helpful and would like to send me a small donation there are details on how you can do so as well as info on the videos in the link above! There is also information on there about shops as well as a gallery of my work and other info. This video has been re-uploaded with some or all of the audio removed to avoid problems with dishonest companies making unfounded copyright claims. In this video I am making a pouch for a Leatherman Wave, a set of Leatherman bits, a Fisher Space Pen and a Fenix E05 torch. It also has a snap off belt loop to allow it to go on and off the belt easily. The idea behind this was not to fight the lumps that like to spring up when wet forming but to encourage them and use them in the design. The two little ridges that I formed stop the torch or pen from dropping out of their tubes (although they're a good fit anyway!).

Making a Horween Shell Cordovan Wallet

http:ianatkinson.netleathervideos.htmIf you have found the collection of leatherwork videos helpful and would like to send me a small donation there are details on how you can do so as well as info on the videos in the link above! There is also information on there about shops as well as a gallery of my work and other info.In this video I am making a gentleman's coin wallet from Horween shell cordovan which is one of the most expensive leathers in the world! Horween is one of the oldest tanneries in the US and one of only a handful of tanneries producing shell cordovan world wide.Shell cordovan is made from a particular part of a horse hide and is very costly due to the low yield. Each hide produces two shells of just over 2 square feet each. That's not much when you consider that a whole cowhide might produce closer to 50 square feet of leather! There are some wallets for sale on my Etsy shop:https:www.etsy.comshopLeodisLeather

The video covers both the large hardback notebook (13x21cm, 240 pages) and the small hardback notebook (9x14cm, 192 pages).
